Fight
Today started out to be a tough day. I was prepared mentally and ready for the fight. With all of the support from friends and family paired with the clinically staff here, I was confident I would finish the day as the victor. And, I have.
I can report from the front lines, that not every battle is as large as it first appears. The opponents are not as daunting or intimidating once you come face-to-face with them. Much of the intimidation factor is rooted in what we perceive of our adversary. I’ll share more in another post.
For now, today has been a fight. However, round three of IV chemo is complete. Lumbar puncture with prohy chemo injection is also complete. God is still in control and I’m still in the fight.
Thanks to each of you for reading, supporting, commenting, and praying. It means more than I have been able to convey.
