Rounds 5 & 6
Rounds five and six are in the books. I’m hoping for less nausea. So far, the meds are controlling it better than yesterday.
Sorry for the brief post last night. I was not feeling well at all. With the nausea that I have been experiencing, I don’t really want to do anything but be still. Today is better though, thankfully.
So far, the radiation has been uneventful. I’m starting to get a pink glow to my skin, literally. It subsided quickly though. Just two more rounds tomorrow and then I have my stem cell transplant on Friday. I’m beginning to get excited. It will be a bit like a new birthday of sorts.
I cannot express how grateful I am for all of the prayer and support that has been poured out on me. Additionally, my own prayers are being answered daily. I hope that you are able to see your prayers for be being answered as well and that your faith is increased through my experience.
This is a large benefit of trials that yield testimonies. As we are able to participate in others’ journeys, we can see God at work answering our prayers which bolsters our faith.
