Discharged
This is a quick update making a long story short. We were not able to start the Blincyto because of some uncertainty on my discharge plans. Rather than sitting in the hospital and running up a bill while we work out details, my doctor graciously discharged me with plans to readmit in the next week or so. Until then, I am back home with family.
In other news, the transplant team has identified several 10/10 matches of unrelated (non-family) donors. We’ll be starting with these in our search for the best match. It will be fun to, hopefully, meet the donor in the future. I pray they are somehow blessed by this experience. Their selfless act will undoubtedly be a blessing to me.
God’s blessings to each of you. Thanks for your continued prayers and support. My spirit remains strong and our family is doing well as we continue to trust in God.
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.“ Prov 3:5-6
