Mind Games

Day Two in the hospital has been a success - no side effects from the Blincyto.

I must admit that I was not looking forward to coming back to the hospital. When I was here last week, I did not have a plan to manage the isolation. The fact that the Blincyto has a scrub was actually a blessing. For this trip, I was able to be much better prepared mentally and physically.

The mental game is powerful. As I mentioned in a previous post, the mind always quits before the body. So, keeping the mind squarely in the game is vital. To this end, today has been a success.

Spiritually, this is truth. You must keep your mind in the game. It is far to easy for us to neglect our relationship with Christ when things are going well as well as giving up on Him when they are not. I encourage you to stay strong in your relationship with Christ.

“Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.” Psalm 25:5
