Day Four

Sorry about not posting yesterday. I was just too tired and not in the mental place to make a post. Today, however, is better. I’m making progress everyday.

Today marked the end of my actual treatments. I finished my final chemo treatment early this morning. I still have IV meds and fluids. But, the actual treatments are finished.

so, the rest of my time here is now waiting for my immune system to recover and the new stem cells to begin engraftment. As that happens, I’ll be able to discharge and see friends and family.

I must say that the journey has often seemed like a long tunnel with little to no light at the end. Finally, the light is. Whining to shine brighter.
